Online Collection

The University of Virginia Art Museum is pleased to announce that its collection is now accessible online for study, research, and teaching purposes. Museum curators selected 1,000 works from the 12,000-object collection to be included in this initial phase. Works of art include American and European paintings, sculpture, photography, prints and drawings of the 15th–20th centuries; art from the ancient Mediterranean; and Asian, African, American Indian, Oceanic, and pre-Columbian art.

The online collection is updated regularly as new records, images, and research are added. Significant additions will appear as new portfolios. Please bookmark this page for easy access.
